film work
Christine Tobin is New England’s premier food stylist for major motion pictures. She works directly with various department heads, producers and talent to ensure all food scenes are executed exactly as envisioned by the film’s director. While on set, Christine’s focus is in both preparing food for camera and helping actors appropriately interact with it. Her work in research, scene development, preparation and food assembling is executed from her personal professional kitchen or the film set when professional kitchen facilities are available.
As a stylist, Christine has delivered food in a range of cuisines from heavily researched foods from the 18th Century to elaborate banquet scenes set in the late 1970’s to simple family meals set in modern time. Christine is hired to help define a moment, a character, a scene through the art of food. The foods prepared for film is always real, always edible, always delicious for talent.
Christine is a proud member of IATSE Local 481.
